Automatic sawdust pellet-fired ("PELLET" type) boilers with output range from 15 kW to 50 kW

The application range of automatic boilers type M£.

Heating boilers type M£ are low-temperature, water boilers with heating medium temperature up to 95C and maximum pressure of 0,25 MPa.

Water boilers, made of steel, type M£ are stoker fired boilers for solid fuel made of wood waste, e.g. briquettes type "PELLETS" , shavings, wood chips, sawdust, solid wood and the like.

The boilers from the range M£-15, M£-30, M£-45 differ in effective power, that ranges from 15 kW to 45 kW, that's why they are particularly suitable for homes, lodging-houses, schools, farm and garden buildings, for the heating of little and medium sized firms and the like.

Applied fuel

As a fuel for boilers of M£ range (as a basic fuel) pellets made of wood waste (PELLET type), shavings and solid wood are applied. It is also possible to apply sawmill and furniture industry waste such as: shavings, sawdust, wood chips, wood dust and bark.

Control panel

I. General characteristic

The boilers we produce can be equipped with a control panel. This is a microprcessor appliance, modern and easy to use. Depending on local conditions, the panel can be installed in a place indicated by the user e.g.: on the casing of the boiler, feeder or on a wall.

The controller of the central heating boiler stabilizes water temperature in the boiler on the preset (required) level and controls the process of burning in the furnace preventing it from going out. Parameters can be adjusted according to current working conditions and a type of boiler. The system has been equipped with a protetion aganist power supply break-downs and other interferences. It does not require any special maintenance, its keyboard has been made of special film being resistant to high temperatures and majority of chemicals.

The controller is equipped with:

1. Heat sensors:
- for the measurement of the outlet water temperature
- for the measurement of the fuel feeder temperature
- for the measurement of the inlet water temperature

2. Digital ports (terminals):
- for the connection of a thermostat that is able to force the controller to pass to stand-by mode with controlled water circulating pump,
- for the connection of the sensor detecting cotter pins break on feeding screw.

The control panel has four relay terminals making it possible to connect directly the controlled devices i.e.:
- fuel feeder,
- circulating pump,
- fan,
- mixing pump or alarm.

II. Control modes

1. Manual control

In manual control mode the fuel feeder and fan can be turned on and off independently from each other by means of push-buttons on the control panel. The display shows the temperature of the water in boiler that is measured by means of sensor. The control mode and the state of particular devices are signalised optically by activating appropriate signal lamps on the control panel.

2. Automatic control

Automatic operation consists in such controlling of fuel feeder and fan, that the temperature of water in boiler is kept on the level preset by the user. In automatic mode the controller also switches on the circulating pump, if the temperature of water in the boiler equals or is higher than the temperature preset by the producer. The controller switches off the pump, if the water temperature decreases by 4 C in comparison with switching-on temperature.

Automatic mode as well as the (on/off) states of particular devices are signallised optically by flashing appropriate signal lamps on the control panel.

In automatic mode, basing on entered algorithm, the controller checks additionally if fire in the stoker has not gone out.

3. Interlocking by a room thermostat

The controller can cooperate with an external room thermostat. Its activation, in case of exceeding the preset temperature in the rooms heated by the boiler, causes controller interlocking. During the time of interlocking, the controller periodically switches on the feeder, fan and the circulating pump of central heating for a determined time. It allows to get additional saving on fuel and electric energy.

III. Mixing pump control

The controller possesses a built-in option for the stablization of minimum temperature in the boiler by the operation of mixing pump that is connected to alarm terminal. In this control option, the operation of the clutch break sensor is off and the sensor of return-water is on. The mixing pump is controlled in automatic mode. The operation status of the pump is signallised optically on the display.

IV. Operation of boiler for hot water supply

The controller allows to install a pump that controls the heating of water for hot water supply. The option requires switching off the sensor for feeder cotter pin break. The additional parameter that is preset in this case, is the temperature that should be obtained in the boiler.
